For those of you who have NOT traveled this method yet, let me enlighten you.
In addition to my
scrap metal and junk recycling business that I own, I also own a investment company that deals primarily in real estate. I deal a lot with realtors occassionally, investors, rehab buyers, foreclosure agents, etc.
Basically when they buy a property or are managing a property that is in need of scrap metal or junk removal, they will call me, or go on my website, and fill out a form.
One thing that I have realized, is that there is not just money to be made in scrap
metal recycling, but in removing junk as well. Only difference is, is that you ALWAYS charge for junk removal, other wise, not profitable.
Not to bash anyone, but I only recommend junk removal for people with trailers, as when you are contracted to do it, there is ALWAYS a lot!
But getting back to what I was saying, any small mom and pop, or even large real estate practice, will have property from time to time. Also, mainly foreclosures, ALWAYS have junk that has to be removed. Find the ones that deal with foreclosures, and make them your best friend!
