    Professional Business Cards,

This is for any scrappers that do not have business cards and cannot see spending $ 30. or more on business cards, especially if your just starting out or only doing it part time. Just go to Walm*rt and in the office section there is a large envelope of Avery do it yourself business cards. # 28371. I think there's 100 to the pack, enough to get you started. Just go to Office Supplies: Office Products, Labels & More | Avery and download a nice logo and use a Microsoft Office template to make up your professional looking cards. They only cost around $3.59 per hundred, they are perforated, and you can also print on the backside if needed. It's a fairly cheap way to get your "business" started. I'm sure all the experts are gonna recommend V*staPrint, ya, the cards can be free but they'll hose you on the shipping!!!

Edit*- And they are changeable in what your doing, what you accept etc. You can put a nice catchy logo on them also.

I have used these for years and think they're great. I only do a sheet or two at a time in case I want to change something, also print a sample on a regular sheet of paper and hold it up to the card stock to make sure everything is aligned properly before printing the final.

Might work for the average joe, but for me, I lost money on making my own. Just in INK alone!

I use FedEx Office. 1,000 double sided, up to 4 colors, uv coat for roughly $60. To me, it is not bad at all.

If being an average Joe sets me apart from you then I'm changing my name to KZJoe.

George, reread my first post, that is exactly why I posted this. Not everyone can justify $60.00 or maybe more, I know I can't. I really don't see anything wrong with my cards, their colorful, informative of what I'm doing and cheap!!!

PS; My point exactly! Thank you,,,

You put your replies in the wrong areas, fyi.

Also, I wasn't stating that you MUST use fedex. I was stating what I use. To me, it is cheaper then me buying bundle $30 packs of ink. 1,000 lasts me quite a while.

Not to hijack your post but what do you think of the card I just made up? I used Avery just like you said too

I don't see why you all take so easy defense on what I say. The stuff I say, is what WORKS for me. Nothing more, nothing less.

Same reason, you all offer up your opinions. If it works for you, to buy business cards at Wal Mart, Target, Staples, or wherever and print your own, then great.

To me, it didn't work out for me like that. It was to costly for me, so I decided to go with Fedex Office, spend roughly $60 and have 1,000 that will last me a good while.

@ geroge, in his original thread he said "especially if your just starting out, ... Or part time" the point of the thread was to offer a useful tip to someone who is not in the position, or doesn't have the desire to spend $50 -$60 +, there is no need to argue his point just because printing your own cards doesn't work for you.

And I know it has been mentioned before, but you joined this forum less than a month ago, and have IMO flooded it with useless posts, almost 300 in just a couple weeks and you ain't added any useful info. You have either been disagreeing with some ones opinion, or reposting information as your own tips for "newbies"

No offense but I have a hard time believing you as being knowledgeable in any area of scrapping or recycling. I could be mistakin but weren't you the one who asked what a gaylord was just about a week or two ago?

And honestly, please don't take offense, I could be wrong.. its been known to happen. I'm just tryin to let you know that some if the things you post/ the way you word things is really damaging any credibility you may have had, at least to myself anyway.
