I have been scrapping lots of copiers and printers in the last few weeks.
I have got about 2lb of the small bushes/bearings that support the shafts, they look similar to brass, but they are not. (they have magnetic properties)
Does anyone know for sure what metal these bushes are ? or what they could be at least. I will be melting them all into an ingot once I have enough, for future use.

Those bushings are made using powdered technology,
Sintered Bronze Bushings
Also referred to as “Self Lubricating” Bronze Bushings, these Bronze Powdered Metal (P/M) Bushings are economical in large quantities and are recommended for light to medium duty applications. All Standard Sintered Bronze Bushings are readily available. Sintered Bronze Bar and Tube can be modified for limited quantity runs if your part is not an industry standard size.
