how to get the most from copper wires/tubes

i was wandering is there common items that have wires in them like you get in say housees i mean the solid core wires not the hair? i took in some cable wire not copper as far as i know you know the cable wire they use for cable and dishes? they counted it as insulated #1 copper why? it was 1.00 something a pound. i took in some tubes and they counted some of them as # 1 tubes what kind of tubes are from radiators after you cut
the soddered parts sry the ends off and just take the center tubes and ends seperatly?

also what things have the most copper weight in them? are tvs the best thing to do?

Mike please take the time to read a lot of the old posts. The more you read the more you will recognize when you break things down. You may think I'm just putting you off by not answering your question but I am not. There is much more here to learn than the questions you are capable of asking at this point. Also nothing replaces experience, so go hit something til the copper falls out. Best of luck, Mike.
