    Cleaning aluminum

    I have used the vinegar method to clean copper and it works like a champ .but does anybody know of a method to clean aluminum that's dirty?

    remove the screws and all other magnetic pieces. its usually graded as clean after that

    There are many cleaner products are available in the market. But, you can use detergent and warm water with added household acid like lemon juice and vinegar.

    Best polish for aluminum I know of is called "mother's" ...
    I don't get why it needs to be more "cleaned" than removing the steel screws tho'???

    I recycled bunch of cans that were smelly and filled with what I call "doo-doo rotten poopoo swamp water"
    ...yard accepted them just fine.


    (Stupid cans, kept finding MORE, and didn't want to, got cut up on pricker bushes, made about $2.50 ea. run of them dang cans)

    noods clean alu means no other metal, not actually "clean" alu .
