There's break downs of crt monitors on here but i like to say $5 just to make it simple. Maybe alittle under/over depending on your yard's prices

Depends how easy it's going to be for you to get rid of the tubes...Did you try the search function by chance, to see what others have done?

The tubes are your biggest problem, they are considered hazardous because of the lead in the glass. You cant just bust them up and set them on the curb, unless of course you are not interested in doing things the right way and only care about the money.

Do some research in your area to see who takes the tubes, some places charge for them, some will take them.

For me, 100 tubes will cost me $1,500 to dispose of properly. The company I deal with charges $10 per tube and a $500 freight charge to come and get them. I charge $15 per TV or Monitor for disposal. But then again, I care about the environment. There are others out there and on this forum that dont care as much for the environment as I do and do things incorrectly, guess I am just anal dont know.

Sorry if I am sounding rude but I hear this question a lot and see all kinds of wrong answers (in my opinion).

I also noticed that you posted 2 questions already without introducing yourself, if you want people to take you seriously try introducing yourself. The only reason I actually took the time to answer your question is because I worry about people trashing our planet with improper scrapping techniques.

    Good luck with your scrapping.

That's what I'm talking about! If we all scrapped like you, we'd all be in a better place. Call me a tree hugger, hippie, whatever. I like doing things right and I'm glad someone on here can say the same! On behalf of all of our children, thank you CMHN! They are the reason I do this the right way.

Well the landfill charges $25 per CRT appliance so I am charging $10 less than them. I can save the shipping fee by delivering them myself, its a 3 hr drive one way. I may try that once to see how it goes, we will see.

$200 in gas and 6 hours driving to save $500, might be worth it.
