Now I was thinking if you built a fire AND SAY A 5 GALLION TIN BUCKET with hot water from the house put the bucket on the fire put a old Grill grate over the fire and let the steam do the work for you Use some good gloves and pull the insulation off that may work.
Interesting. I've got a big heavy grate I was told was a welding table out on the #1 iron pile. I've got four totes full of various wire I thought is too small for stripping, including computer wire. I think I've still got a copper kettle that should work as well and several cords of wood that's cut/split and dried. I'll have to give this a try but I'll have to wait for a couple weeks till some of the stuff is unburied from the snow.
