I have had terrible luck with CL. I think it is because not many people use it in my area.

we have probably 20 some different people offering to haul your scrap of all kinds, I'm the only one offering to buy escrap but still don't get any bites off of it.

I'm thinking "escrap" is a term most people don't know what it means, might even sound scary to some? The only ad i've put anything similar in so far, i made it Elec-Waste, hoping it would be more readily understood

Skippy I'm not a buyer like the guys here on the forum, I buy old, damaged, blown up computers from computer stores or anyone else on Craigslist when I can get it, Check out our buyers here, Easy's down in Texas, might be the closest, But look over their pricelists and websites and you use who you think is the best fit for you. Doesn't matter what I or any one else thinks. Do what makes you comfortable. All those brown boards are sellable but you don't want to ship them, find you a local buyer within driving distance.

Craigs runs hot and cold. I have had some amazing fines on there but then I have also gone days with no response at all.

lots of people on cl wanting scrap here too, every time i try to post an ad i get flagged super quick. they think they have exclusive rights to cl, but i cut their throat everywhere else

Not good in my area. We are in an area that falls between two craigs list areas so everything is 30+ miles away and I cant compeete with locals on the stuff. Every now and then I get a call that I can pull off but I dont advertise there much. I have not gotten one call on the Ewaste from craigslist yet.

My car ads last about 20 min before someone flaggs them for removal. It is a PITA when I can be out working.

After posting above I had a slow morning so I thought what the heck and put 4 ads on craislist. Came in for lunch and they were all flagged for deletion within 15 min except one i put in an off topic area. Might be good for somone but in my area they are sitting by the computer waiting to delete you.
