Here's one way of getting a water heater valve off...

After beating on it with a pipe wrench and hammer and still not budging, I thought "hey, why not use the weight of the skid steer to hold it while I wrench on it". So I did. Dropped the forks on it and raised the front wheels to get leverage on it.

Was it worth the trouble? Probably not, but I did it anyways.

That is quite an odd little gas water heater. Can't say that I have ever seen one that small.
Water heaters are great. I have been in the plumbing business for too long, and always saved my brass and copper. Never gave a thought as to what a trailer load of water heaters would bring. I have finally figured it out. Cha Ching!!

It's out of an RV. Every one I've come across has been about this size. However it's the first one I've seen that is a steel tank versus aluminum.

Yes, Burly, I suppose I did have fun. So we'll count it!

These are what we have in NZ, used in smoko rooms & offices as a 'over sink' water heater.

    About 3-4Kg copper & a little brass.
