Honest opinion not worth the time and effort.
ddelatorre14, those circuit boards that are on a metal plate like that, dose it go in with low grade or have its own grade?
Is it weird in here, or is it just me?

Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

I suggest low grade. If you have large volumes I would refine to extract the copper content and ensure a good payment, but for the purpose of blending with other boards I would say low grade. $0.15lb.
I believe that the frame(part with the large round hole in it) is Al not steel. A magnet is your best friend. The connector has gold plated pins and can be included in the connectors you sell to your ewaste buyer. Much has been written on the break down of floppy drives but until you do one you may not fully understand. Mike.
"Profit begins when you buy NOT when you sell." {quote passed down to me from a wise man}
Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
its worth it and its not you get some copper and aluminum to add to your buckets but if you have nothing else to and your bored go for it
That's what I do. I wait until I don't have much else to break down and it's a slow evening at home or the kids are busy doing homework or something. In all honesty Monday is usually my "piddly sh!t" night for stuff like CD drives, floppy drives, printers, etc... cause the kids are at piano.
broughy84 has it exactly what i do
I loved the video.. but the music in the background.. it just about made me fall asleep...
Floppy drives are just not worth it, best to yank the board and thats it,
again.. Good Video.
