    I guess like anything else it all depends on how you value your time and how fast you can strip it.

    That wire would be #1 insulated. Are you sure #1 is 1.15#? I know #2 insulated is at 1.10# and it seems like #1 would be higher than 1.15#. That is TMR in Pinellas Park prices. Yes I always strip all my solid core wire, it is worth it. You could even buy that wire at the same price they are getting for it. Then take it home and strip it and sell as #1 copper and still make a profit.

    Every time i go to TMR No matter what i give them i get 1.15 a lb for insulated. I got a wire stripper now so they wont be getting much insulated from me no more.

    striping gets you more value for sure. If it's worth your time, that's upto you. but you frequently need to strip then you better have a machine or something
