Certain yards don't want any "heat" as technically they are property of the store... It was an easy crackhead score when they stole them. I would break them down or smash them up and take them that way. Lots of stores have gone to all plastic carts. If they give you a hard time, tell them that company went out of business and sold their carts. Just a thought.

Just a helpful hint: When "snatching" with a chain or cable, pass the line or chain through a cinder block. Position the block so it helps deaden the whiplash if the cable or chain breaks.

    Sorry if you knew that.....

Made sure of that, i had evidence to support that it was abandoned property and that the store (burlington coat factory) did infact went out of buisness in my local mall.

Don't forget to grab at least the front swivel casters if they are any good....they make good wheels for a shop cart or the like.

Grey area. Some will no questions asked, some will want paperwork. Some may trust you if they know you.
Currently looking for a job in or related to scrap/recycling. Relocation is possible for the right offer.
