Hes an idiot. If you need to learn about boards there are some excellent sticky posts in the electronics recycling section here on the forum. Flatbacks??? Really???

I know he's not the smartest guy out there but between watching his videos and looking the heck out of the forums here. And at boardsort.com I being to understand grading board. And major components. Thank guys.
"anyone who thinks scrappin is easy money ain't doin it right!"
Video is outdated now; the industry grades and values a lot of those boards differently now but I suppose it's a decent starting point.
I'm sorry but this guy has several videos out and he tells half the info at best and the rest is just a guess or his source is completely wrong also!!! He shouldn't even have a Youtube channel, he's that bad with misinformation!!
When I started I watched him and cruized around in boardsort. Like the other say read HERE. This is an amazing place to gather information to keep you from wasting time and money. In my opinion if you want the best knowledge on utube then check out scrapping for a dart. he was a great help to me in the begining. Then There is SMF. need I say more.
I have also noticed he mentions badsort a lot in his videos. Wonder if he has a deal with them to push people to their site???
He's sponsored by somebody. Him, an that other guy. Along with a bunch of others.
Most of them are, keep that in mind.
I never went anywhere but here. I found SMF, an sadly for you lot, stuck around.
An once again on boards an sorting them...TALK TO YOUR BUYER! A lot grade in different way. Only they will know what they want. Not some dude on a video on youtube, or any of us on here.
The buyers may get mad at me, but here is a secret...they won't bite, an are actually quite kind an chatty folks at times. Did I mention they also usually don't mind answering questions like this, as it helps them if one is not mucking up the process.
An olddude..you crack me up. Please never go PC. lol.
Sirscrapalot - Mmm...cheetos.
Not the new Dart. Go look at a 71 Dodge Dart Demon 340 for a real car.
I really need to get to work scrapping so I can restore mine.
Very nice indeed . Here is one that has the cleanest engine bay I have ever seen in my life .

It's simple common sense. If you want to learn a business you learn from those who are in that business , preferably those who are successful, however even those who are not can teach you not to make the same mistakes.
Many of those successful people can be found here on SCRAPMETALFORUM. It is a little more work to dig out the info some times but look at it this way. Is your family or your personal respect and success worth a little extra effort ? If not ok.
There are many good vids and photos here any, missinfo will quickly be corrected, any missing info will soon be added.
Every You tube vid I've watched leaves out some valued info or has out right given falce info. I am also a refiner and I will tell you 999.5% (fellow refiners will get that) the stuff you see on you tube can kill you and your whole family EASILY.
The same is true with regular scrapping one of the most popular ones is a scrapper shooting monitors and TVs with a shot gun at close range for idiots sake.
several others were refining with dangerous acid mixes and no personal protective clothing or breathing protection.
AS an example there are 2 commonly used auto fluids that frequently are stored on the same shelf or even in the same plastic tubs, when these two leak and the mixture reaches a certain % they WILL do one of two things either burst into a flame that is nearly imposable to put out or explode and most likely in your garage at 3:33 in the morning (time is a metaphor for any time).
In most cases you can Google your question and it will direct you to a scrap metal forum thread dealing with that subject. How much easier do You want it ? mcw
