    Cool This is how I scrap a fridge

    Sounds at one point like the compressor is releasing air. Did you evacuate the freon beforehand? If not do so next time. Freon is terrible for the environment and the fines for improper disposal are very high.

    Yes I did evacuate the freon before hand. Thanks for watching out.

    2dogscrapping I did recover the freon right. But since people are worry about that and I'm going to get more view I'm going to listen to your advice and take the video down.

    Not busting on you because I didn't see the video, only clarifying the EPA fine. It is $37,500 per intentional release. The $10,000 is a potential whistle blower reward that the EPA MAY, I repeat MAY pay.

    All kinds of laws and hazards out there when scrapping. Freon in appliances and ac units. Cathode Ray tubes in old TVs and monitors. Cfl bulbs as well. Some electronics can hold a charge and shock you bad. In posting videos I would always mention safety first. Also some items sell for more than scrap. Re use, Re sell, Re purpose and then Recycle.
