    Smile cutting the cloth of a lawn chair for scrap





    With the aviation snips it cuts the cloth of lawn chair like butter. Enjoy

    I used to drill or cut off all rivets to get clean aluminum, then later just used a sawsall to cut off the pieces with the plastic and steel rivet leaving some aluminum so I could turn in those pieces in as dirty alum. Left some meat on the bone! Then when prices went down just started to scrap some things as dirty and move on. No longer cut off the vinyl straps on a pool lounge chair! LOL

    I hear you at the begging you clean as much as possible but as time flys by and you get to scrapping more then you just want to get rid of things as they are. But copper yes I will take my time to clean it since they pay more money for copper.
