That's an Old Radio Shack Scanner you have there- not a CB radio- I had one back in the day - used to have to buy 'crystals" to install into it to get the different channels-

Thanks for sharing the video...You may be surprised what those 'genuine' HP ink cartridges still sell for on eBay...Until I got my new printer, I was buying HP21 and HP22 inks on eBay and paying $10 to $15 per cartridge...Good Luck...

The little mechanical typewriter is very similar to the one I used the first time I went to college. I was one of the few to have a typewriter or know haw to type at the university I attended. And yes that was in a time before computers. Thanks for sharing, Mike

I would like to see many scrappers starting their own threads showing how they scrap with pictures and or videos. I scrap computers and phone systems but I'm always interested in reading about autos, heavy steel and other items.

I do happen to have like 4 or 5 transmissions that I am going to try my hardest to sell as is today. If I at least one of them has no real resale value I'll take pics and a video of me struggling to bust that nasty thing open.
Fingers crossed someone buys it though.

You should at least get dirty aluminum price for them, some places have a transmission category make sure you ask! A little better than dirty aluminum

Are you saying theres places that would give me dirty aluminum for a complete transmission? Come on now. This surely can't be true. Can it? Shirley?

Also may be called irony aluminum. Call around to yards. Little more than steel prices, generally.

Disassembling trannys makes quite the mess and may not be worth it. More steel than Al.
