I see Automotive cast iron, 1/4" heavy melt, stainless tray, some clean tin, a swing set, and one can of traction fluid. whatever that is.
He cut right thru the copper coils end, if it was turned vertically he could cut once thru each coil once & pull them out as two, unfrayed pieces.
The armiture, he cut thru the shaft.
I'd cut thru the loops ends & then burn the rest off in a fire to get rid of insulation (if its covered with varnish) then pull the wire out.
Or burn it & cut the wires & pull them out, once burnt the wire loops are a lot free'er & softer, cut them with tin snips & pull out by hand.
I tend to hammer out the shaft as I can use it as a disposable punch later on.
I love the video, wish I could do one.
