Redwings, water proof steel toe. I just bought a new pair this week, the last pair lasted me 3 years and I went through 7 pairs of laces. Redwings are a little pricey, but I bet it would be difficult to find another boot that would last 3 years of nearly everyday wear. And the old ones could still be worn, but I just broke my 7th pair of laces, the insole needed replaced, and they look pretty rough so I decided on a new pair.
