    stamps.com

Question to all who use stamps.com. Is it cheaper using them and paying the monthly fee overall or is it cheaper using ebays shipping tool?

From what I have seen, ebay is cheaper. Stamps.com charge a fee to sell you USPS rates.

Don't do the stamps.com. Not only is there a monthly fee of $15, but you have to buy the stickers that you have to print the stamps on. It is convenient if you live a ways from the post office, but you pay for that convenience. As soon as I burn through my stickers, I am canceling my Stamps.com account.

Edit: Thought of more stuff. You can print directly on the envelope. Another negative is if your printer f's up one of the sticker pages, its a PITA to get a refund from them. You have to send in the messed up page and all that.

Similar experience here. Once I found the rates on eBay/Paypal to be the same as what I am paying a monthly fee for I am now considering canceling once their "free" supplies run out

I haven't tried it, but can you print an ebay label on the stickers? I do print out my postage from ebay but wondered if I could somehow feed a sticker into my printer so I don't have to tape the label on the package. Maybe I can scotch tape a sticker to a regular sized piece of paper in the right place and make it work. Anyone do this?

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

It's much easier than that. Buy something like this:
500 Round Corner Easy Peel Mailing Shipping Labels Paypal eBay USPS UPS FedEx | eBay

In the eBay shipping setup, tell it not to print the instructions portion, and then you can use both labels on the sheet. It cost me about $0.045 per label to do it that way.

I still tape the four sides down. I don't have complete faith in labels. But, it's still much easier and quicker than using paper.

One thing that is good about Stamps.com and you may find it worth while is the return label feature. Especially for scrap buyers, you can use a Parcel Select return label with your company logo to offer free shipping and the like.
