Do you know who you are shipping them to? Have you found a buyer yet?
Nobody can really answer your question because it depends on the total weight including the boxes. I have no idea how much your 200 laptops weigh, because there are too many variables. And saying you have about 100 pounds of motherboards is too vague to go by. You need to weigh them up on a decent scale (and not one of those cheap Weighmax scales) and then contact your buyer to see if they offer shipping services, which will be deducted from the payout.
This is the scale I use: CAS PB-Series Portable Platform and Bench Legal for Trade Scales
It's not cheap, but since I purchase a lot of stuff by weight I want to make sure the seller is getting a fair shake, plus I have more confidence in how much weight I have before heading off to the yard or selling to my escrap buyer.
Look at my post in the buyers section and give me a call I can get you in the ballpark
The Laptops weigh 5 pounds each. So 1000 pounds. Laptops have everything except the hard drives.
I have not found a buyer yet No
I am interested in scrapping e-waste but balk at the cost to send off parts and pieces hoping someone will buy them. You are talking shipment via 18 wheeler. $$$$$$$$$$$

You would be surprised how low the cost is of shipping pallets of products.
Box them up and ship them out!
They're not even accurate in his area! He has been hand fed all the inforation he needs to cost effectively ship to Mario or any of the other great buyers here (PTS, Army, Mud, Mmarro, Ryan, Ohio, Gorven and whoever else I left off). From another thread, it looks like he finally found Mario and realized the buyers thread is not dead. Maybe in another 6 months, he MIGHT figure out shipping.
This is Hilarious! LOL! .....Wait is this a real Legal Shipping method?!
Please tell me you were kidding with that last question. For if not, any hope I had for humanity is now lost.
Is trucking legal.....Pardon me while I go bang my head against a wall. Here's my answer...if your not shipping drugs, it sure is! Even if it's a Hazmat load..expect your rates to go up for that one tho..
Gorven offers awesome rates, Mario/Ewasted also, as do several other buyers.
An once more...I can get shipping cheaper then RLS there..an I live 2 miles out in the freaking ocean.
Rent the whole truck, or part of the truck, this is how these kind things work. If your not taking up the whole thing, there will be others people stuff on there to. Nobody is dedicating a whole semi trailer to 3 pallets. Which makes it a helluva lot cheaper then the usual shipping methods.
One again, and as always...YMMV.
