    Good luck...

Any way to ship them off to Canada? Or has that well dried up finally?

with that volume you should be able to fill a container and sell them in canada. there is a buyer here on the forum, I can't remember which one.

Does New York state government have any type of program or information web site? Here in California we have CalRecycle a state agency. I'm not one that is big on looking for government to have useful programs. CalRecycle is one that has worked for me. That's how I found a approved CRT handler and less than two miles away. Sometimes the place you would least likely look (State Gov.), is maybe the place to start. Not always but sometimes!

Sounds like what happened here. Someone I know of, who after talking to me, decided he could make a few $$ if he set up himself with a contact for a bigger company who was supposed to recycle the crts.

The company, after he got pallet loads of crts, got $$ from the goverment, spent it, went bust.
Now the guys got no room left to store stuff, can't take more crts, dosn't get his emails answered....

Now I'm able, at my leasure, to scrap the better crts out, if I clean and sort the rest of the crts for him.
