Hah! Drop off a couple pallets at my house. Only if they have coords though. Doubt you would bring them all the way to nebraska but someone who has that many tvs probably does some crazy stuff.

good way to "give" soe one else your head ache, Un fortunately half of them (except for the copper of course) will probably end up in the ditch or some one's field/woods. sorry just a little realism. Hope you find a Reliable/Responsible taker.

Why not dispose of them yourself???......CRT disposal is a major part of the ewaste biz............Why are you giving away a guaranteed money maker.......Think of all the lead in those bad boys that you are giving away.......Could be highly profitable for you to start a fire in your facility and throw all the tubes into the flame............We will need to figure a way however to extract the lead run-off............A simple 5 gallon plastic bucket should do the trick...............Oh well just a thought............What am I saying me just dumb hillbilly

They are just trying to move some unprofitable product (to them). Remember the discussion a while back about New Yorks new ewaste law??

I think forum members may be worried this material may not be handled correctly

How about you pay for freight, load them, and ill take them off your hands. If not take up one of mikeinreco's ideas. They seem to be cheaper options.

I have zero problems with the guy trying to move his CRTs. What I do have a problem with is how. It's kind of an unwritten rule in the industry that you have to take CRTS, when you pick up a load of other electronics that are profitable to you. If you are any sort of established E-waste company, you should have avenues to properly dispose of them to other legitimate companies. Sometimes you have to pay to have them removed. I just don't agree with posting on a forum saying anyone can have these for free, without checking there background or references. I don't want these things in my back yard.

Nope, he's serious. As part of the law, scrappers that take them can not charge to pick them up or sell them to anyone, so yes - it makes sense to give them away, but to answer your second part, yes - anyone can accept them and do whatever they want with them.

The NY Escrap law? Yep. Other states may have better luck in further processing these so yes, giving them away for free is an option.

Look i can see alot of people have a problem with my post i wont be mean because i dont want nobody taking this the wrong way. I understand as all of you do CRT Televisions are a low profit material. I receive thousands of pounds of eWaste monthly and Yes on some shipments i Receive i end up With Some CRT televisions. But i dont take them apart take away the good stuff and throw the tubes somewhere on the curb. I dont post on craigslist and have people pull up with their pickup trucks to my facility and load up how ever much they want. I Palatize everything and keep it in a dry warehouse i get about a tractor trailer load ready than i offer it on here to other recycling companies that might want the material. I dont post on here offering to scrappers to come get what they can so honestly i dont see that i am doing something wrong.

Just seems if you were processing 1000's lbs per month you would have systems in place just for this issue........All good with me I'm just snowed in and messing around really.........I wish you luck and personally I don't want to see them dumped in the ocean but I'm no idiot...........Millions upon millions of pounds of waste are dumped in our oceans yearly so what's another 15 pallets of CRT's......LOL.........
