And they should handle E-waste in their respected countries.

There is always going to be waste. To say any one country is the cause is crazy. I feel we as human beings have stepped up to take care of the "mess" and have done so for a very long time. Get your facts straight. There are regs that have made manufacturers responsible for the proper recycling and disposal of their products. Vast majority of the products used in this country are manufactured over seas. And I dare say we ,in this country are handling more than our share. And doing it responsibly.
I'd have to disagree. This country only meets minimum regulations and to me, that's not enough. You know companies like Dell and big box stores like Wal-Mart pay for people to look the other way, right? How do I know? I was standing in the managers office of not one but two Wal-Marts when I was Iowa when this was going on. This country is still the largest importer and exporter of electronics and I'll be darned if I'm going to let my electronics be exported so they end up at the bottom of the ocean or the beach of some country.
