Take some time, pick a subject (like Dismantling, Breaking Down & Maximizing Scrap etc.) and do some reading, print up/get some business cards and a few flyers and start networking with people, the more you intereact with the better it'll get.
It won't happen overnite but it will happen. I have people still contacting me from 2 years ago, when I was hitting the yard sales heavy. (was doing haulaways)
