Thanks everyone! I will post a link this saturday when I put the auction up. I'm going to start the bid at $300 (my luck, I would start at $.01 and it would sell for $.01,lol). I also need to do some research on keywords to use in my title and I'm thinking of making the buyer send me an email that confirms that what he is buying is indeed scrap not for reuse and possibly requiring a phone call.

Dont worry....you post the link here with your SMF family and I'll personally guarantee you will get a few hundred bucks out of it +

I don't think the letter or phone call is necessary, just be very clear in your description and title that these are for scrap gold recovery. The best category to list in is the one Mike listed his in, the scrap and recovered gold under coins, bullion. If he doesn't mind, you can go to his auction and click on the link that says "sell it yourself" under the main picture. You can then modify the auction to fit your lot and change the pictures. Just make sure to check out each line to make sure it's like you want it such as shipping cost, returns, auction time.

Keywords, be sure to put in Pentium Pro and 486 as these have a hot market. Also, I'd add CPU and scrap gold recovery for people who just search for these to buy for scrap.

    Good luck on your auction.

I don't mind I usually try to be very straight forward letting them know it is for SCRAP only!
