    Cable ends with gold plated connectors can be sold separately from the wire. There are a variety of them. Printer and serial cable ends both male and female, IDE and floppy drive cables, and USB. Cables such as from keyboards and mice, unless USB, and power cords are not gold plated. They are priced per lb, but like most scrap check around because prices vary.
