Yanno, I normally don't fret tv tubes...but in a lake I regularly fish in, and eat out of...holy hell. Every year we lose a sled or two to the lake early or late in the season and the DNR basically says either you recover it or we will and charge you for it. I just want to be clear on another thing, I am not one to point out illegal activities so long as they are benign and don't really harm anyone at all...I just see it as a waste of my tax payer dollars to say anything. In this case, that isn't so...in fact had I not have seen it I think it may have been discovered later and who knows, worst case scenario a fishing ban until they tested water and fish all over the lake...and thats literally a million dollar a day problem. I was already wondering what the hell he has tubes in the back of his truck for...I thought of all kinds of things the only logic being for the weight. There's no place to drop them off on that side of the lake at all, and I cross the lake this time of the year to go scrapping.

A little part of me feels bad...but for all that if I had confronted the guy it could have gone from bad to worse, a guy has to know what he is risking by dumping heavy metals in the waterways...60 years later and were still getting over the mercury situation around here.
