I said it before, an I think it was lost...but as Russell just said. You have to quit for you, not others, or cause your forced, etc etc. This isn't to the op, but to anyone quitting something. Whether it's drugs, drinking, smoking, etc. You have to want to quit. People can yell at you all day the downsides, but unless you desire the change..chances are..it won't stick.
I find a lot of people preach or yell at others to stop a bad habit, an it just plain doesn't work for the majority. The person doing said habit has to want to quit, for themselves first, an the other stuff second. In my own not so humble opinion.
