    I have had great success with recycling electorics at Best Buy. I've stripped 10 tv's this week and dropped off the shell/tube at my local store. Also dropped off computers, towers, and yes, keyboards. Never had a bit of hassle. The sticking point for you would be they only accept 3 items per day per customer. Check 'Best Buy recycling' for the details.
