    Paying more than old sheet...
    Painted siding is a known alloy, free of all steel, old sheet is any none cast not 2000 or 7000 series aluminum with 2-5% Fe depending on the package... Painted siding is a better then old sheet :-)

    Another question is Clean Sheet the same as MLC?

    Probably/maybe "Clean sheet" is Slang,
    MLC has to be new production sheet material not 2000 or 7000,
    the term Clip is used as a replacement for MLC(Mixed Low Copper) often because most MLC is clippings and punchings from new manufactured material.
    MLC HAS to be free of paint, caulk, steel and extrusions.
    MLC will go straight into the furnace, get a test, and be adjusted to get the alloy needed so it is a primary not a secondary alloy like old sheet which gets shredded and processed
