what exactly is an an ic? and how do you get them off the board to sell them if they are worth anything? sorry for the question but new to escrap. i mainly do junk cars so still learning in this department.

1: integrated circuit
2: Desoldering iron, solder wick, and a chip puller



In newer electronics, chances are you are not going to find valuable IC s, however in the older stuff the chances go up quite a bit. The most common ones I find are worth $1 to $5 each.
