Buying Computer Parts and Laptops for Greater than Scrap Value

I'm glad to be back, helping the community! I've added more hard drive and memory testing stations, so we're ready for your stuff!

I look forward to working with you! We purchase a lot of more than scrap value parts, including CPUs, RAM, and HDDs. We also purchase graphics cards and complete laptops! Feel free to PM me anytime, or you can E-Mail me here. I can also chat with you via telephone or text messaging if you like, but Wyoming cell service is notoriously bad.

Prices Please see our Google Spreadsheet for current pricing:

In the spreadsheet below is a list of most of what we are purchasing for greater than scrap value. We are looking for working items in good shape. I test all items, and they must be in working order to receive these prices. Failed items will be paid at our current scrap prices. Items will be paid at the prices effective on the day that your lot is received (Not when you ship). We try not to change prices too often. You can view prices below. There is a copy of the packing slip for download, or a fillable one in the spreadsheet if you'd prefer. Please contact me to obtain a lot number for larger shipments

Please click here for packing slip! Please place a copy in each box you send

Please let me know before you send a lot- there is only one me- I will make sure to take care of you, but it helps a LOT to know what's coming, so I can make my schedule around it. This way your lot is tested as quickly as possible, and that means money in your pocket faster!

For larger lots, I cannot recommend our resident freight shipper on the forum (You all know who I'm talking about!) highly enough! If you ship a pallet, I can pick it up at the NPT freight terminal, so there is no charge for liftgate service

The fun part (Well, for you at least ) : We pay either through PayPal or by money order- your choice! Please note that there is a $5.00 fee deducted for payments sent via money order to cover the cost of the money order and postage. For PayPal payments, you are liable for all their fees. We cannot guarantee PayPal fee costs. We cannot send payment to anyone other than yourself or the company that you represent- no third parties!

Prices are subject to change without notice. We are in uncertain times as you all know- we try not to change prices, but in the event of market changes, prices may change. All lots are paid out at the rates in effect on the date that they are received, not the day that they are postmarked. Shipping reimbursement or partial prepayment is handled on a case-by-case basis. All boxes need to have an inventory list with your name, SMF username (If you have one), lot number, preferred payment method (PayPal or Money Order), the address for payment to be made to, and an E-Mail that can be used to contact you. We have a nice little form that you can use for just that to make it nice and easy!

I'm proud to have worked with many of the same clients for the last few years, and I look forward to working with you too!

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are now purchasing vintage hard drives and RAM! Please let me know what you have, and I'll be more than happy to get you a quote on your old treasures!

Some slight price revisions. RAM is trending downward slightly, and hard drives have risen a little. There aren't any major changes.

Please note that Core 2 Duo laptops are sunsetting, so their prices will be falling as i-Series laptops (i3, i5, i7) enter retirement age.

Do you have the model number on those CPUs? They'll be in the $5-10 range, but I can be more specific if I know the model.

Non-ECC 8GB DDR3 is currently bringing $15.25 per stick (Desktop or laptop).

Please note the price drops in the laptops, RAM, and hard drives categories.

We will be adding a category for desktop PC motherboards- stay tuned for details!

Wyatt is one of the most considerate gentleman I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
I put in an order with him for a refurbished laptop for my mom who's been having serious difficulty with her vision.
When she recently fell and ended up in the hospital for a month, Wyatt not only took the time to create the perfect laptop for her situation, he was a sincere friend.

Thank you for your prayers and for going the extra mile for us, Wyatt!

I'm glad that I was able to help make your mother's recovery a little bit nicer.

We've made some minor price changes, but please not the major change: We are now purchasing Apple laptops! They're graded just like PC laptops are (Screen test, overheating, battery, ....). Please contact us with models and specs for a more detailed quote

Hello, I use to own a laptop repair company. I have about 500 laptop motherboards, all working, more than 300 memory modules, both Laptop and Desktop memory, again all working. My question is, whats the best way to sell this stuff. This all comes from the late 90's to about 2006.

    Thank you,

RAM can be sorted out. We do pay for some sticks as more than scrap value if working (Please see price list above), and we also pay for scrap sticks. The rate is towards the bottom of the post.

Laptop motherboards (Assuming they're just the board and not an entire laptop) are not something that we purchase at this time. There are buyers on here who do, though.

We've posted changes and updates- in a new graphical format! Please comment on the new format with feedback and suggestions

Also, please note there are a couple of changes to the price list:

    * Laptop Computers with Core 2 Duo CPUs have been largely dropped from the purchase list. We will look at these on a case-by-case basis, but the market for the Core 2 Duo is quickly sunsetting.

    * We now purchase many Intel i-Series CPUs and older Core 2 Quads!

    * Power Adapters have been removed from the purchase list. We still purchase some adapters, though pricing is on a case-by-case basis.

I like the new graphics also. It really makes it stand out from the rest.
I feel it is a bit harder to read though. Especially the smaller text on the CPU sheet.

I'll tweak that background to be a bit more subdued and see if that helps
