    sterio/cable/satalite box green boards ?

    just bought 300 lbs of green boards . all from stereos/ satellite boxes etc. any one know what grade they are. no visable gold.

    Cable boxes and satalite boxes have green boards, remove all steel and the ports that the cables plug into and you should get mid grade price for them. All the sterio's I'v ever done had low grade boards. Hope this helps.

    Satellite TV and Cable Tv boards are considered medium grade boards . Stereo boards are considered low grade boards and for the most part will be brown unless they are coming out of high end SONY commercial systems then they are usually green on both sides but will still be considered low grade because of the copper content in the board and the low grade chips and solder that is used .

    Most of the chips on low grade boards and Automation equipment look good but are built bigger for their insulating purposes against the heat generated by the equipment.
