9 pounds aluminum cans at 1.85 for $16.65

21 pounds plastic bottles at 1.05 for $22




copper #1 was $2.90 a pound
copper #2 was $2.80 a pound

how do cans pay 2 1/2 times that? if aluminum spot market is around .87??
