    fork lift batters

    i have a chance at grabbing 2 big ass fork lift batteries from craigs. Im not sure if my yard even pays for these but if they do what could i expect to get out of them ? what about in your yard(s) http://honolulu.craigslist.org/mau/zip/2496550622.html

    Very little. As an example, I pay .12/lb for regular batteries and only .01/lb for forklift batteries. The weight is mostly steel casing.
    People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

    My buyer will take them as is an pay me the same as if any other lead battery...call your yard first before you do anything.

    just sold an steel encased battery pack for $700. It came from a Mitshubishi forklift. Don't remember the weight but they paid me 30 cents/per lbs.
