Wow, those are some cheap prices,, might be winter prices.

I hope I don't get those prices this weekend. Why don't you knock the copper rounds out of the aluminium heat sinks? it's easy to do with a hammer and punch or screwdriver

As of for the prices... The nearest large yard is over 100 miles away so that goes effects the price. For regular metal I can only get 5 cents per pound!

As of for knocking the copper out of the heat sinks, I just don't have time. Between working a 40 hr. a week job and having a computer repair business on the side, I just only have time for certain things.

Luckily, I just scrap to get extra $ for my coin hobby.

The wire I sent up was classified as communication. I had around 25 Lbs. of ribbon cable w/ ends off and the rest was mixed computer wire w/ ends on. I would think that ribbon cables w/ the ends off should of been a higher grade.

The ribbon wire can be a real B at times. Its very small and very fine type of wire not every one can recover that kind of copper but what I will say is this....cut the ends off and you can use it as packaging...I have done that a few times and it works pretty good.
