Way to go SYH. Have you considered sending your e-waste to Relectrocycle in Ocala. They pay shipping ?

    same prices Dee

and we still can take in any color board and get 3$

the fact its local and same day makes all the difference. Relectrocycle is gonna be good to cash in on processors, lithium batteries, and other more valuable pieces.

I see why your selling your mobo's there, I was thinking of the other "innards" like finger cards, cpu's , etc. But.....nevermind.....I see that the 5 of you have your heads together. Dune, WC, and SYH. Who are the other two ?

just a few locals that know what there doing, i personally dont know them but they come a few times a month. With me i get the computers in and get them tore down the same day cash in the mobos then go out and get more, plus the steel and other stuff from trash running. Its actually funny when you know the board grading better then you yard and they trust you to teach about them so they can profit more. they use to only take computer boards now thanks to the forums i get them from tons of items now. just rather not say what cause it seems every time i post the item i get them from im jinxd for that month with them :-p

O yeah the yard is paying better for ram the the online buyers O.O you wont see it listed on the price sheet and the workers wont buy it until you talk to the boss. got 12$ lb. only thing im trying to decided is with finger cards, i want them to be a separate category there. Maybe if we all say something we can make it happen.

I will probably use relectrocycle on some copy machine, laser printer, pci cards, network/firewall boards that the yard wouldn't take for some reason. I also have ram, fingers and cpu saved up and have sent relectrocycle a pm to let me know when he is in orlando.

A neighbor saw me loading up today and stopped to ask where I take in my scrap, come to find out he does not harvest any of his scrap he sells it all as steel for .12/lb because "he doesn't have time to be breaking things down". This guy gets 10x as much scrap as me so I may have to offer to buy things from him, like air conditioners and computers.

Price for today, first time selling these items and in the future I will sort them and save them until I have more but I wanted to give the local guy a shot with my very mixed load.

16.5 ounces of memory I only brought in less than 1gb sticks, some from copy/laser printers, and a lil bit was fingers for $11/lb=$16.50 I was told this would be resold to reuse the memory, for realz?

16 ounces of mixed processors-some had circuit boards on them, all different types no gold Pentiums were in that load $18/lb=$18
