    Are these boards worth anything and what are they

    I have been breaking down some old stuff i found and am wondering if some of what i am collecting is worth it

    those 2 are of the same board the 2nd picture is of the connector its hard to see but all the pins are gold plated it seem

    i believe that was off an older drive

    that is out of some kind of an car amlifier control

    2nd picture is a close up of what appears to be some kind of a gold plated chip and the socket it was in not sure what it is. it was in an older epson computer that didnt look anything like a modern desktop

    The first one is an IDE (gold pin) to gold finger adaptor. They were mostly used when upgrading old computers to use floppy drives. The rest except for the drive one appear to be mid or high grade boards, but I'd have a buyer on here look. I have no idea on the chip, but it looks pretty high up there as far as price.

    That last picture is a 186 chip. I believe one of the buyers here is paying 300+ per pound on them.

    3rd picture has those IC chips with windows on it we were talking about awhile back.

    They are 350 /lb or roughly $3.00 ea. is what we pay.
    We buy electronic scrap, Gold Karat scrap, gold filled, refined gold, silver and many other item's.

    The chip on the 3rd picture does not have a window on it, it is classified as a low grade IC chip. The 4th picture has 2 chip's on the right side of the boards with the window you are referring to, these are know as Eprom's and go for about 4.00 /lb.

    ok thanks for the replies. i guess my next question is do i leave the boards as is or pull the chips off them?
