    Newer Poker/Slot Machine e-waste

Hi all! Got a hit off a craigslist ad tonight to see if I wanted to buy a storage locker.

Why yes, yes I would thank you very much. There are 18 machines in there in various states of functionality with four or five from the 1980s-90s and the rest from 2000-14. The table you can't see so much on the left is full of replacement parts (lots of brand new boards and touch screens!) and replaced parts. Haven't even touched the machines yet but brought the parts home tonight. Following are some pics. Several of the boards were in multiples and are shot side by side. Others I only saw, on a once over, one of and are paired with another single board. Enjoy!

im guessing these would go as medium-medium high grade boards?
since they seem to be boards for game machines etc, u should check if theres a chance to sell them online

last resort would be to scrap them
    just my opinion.

i hope u make a decent profit off them

Well am still getting schooled on board grading but there are fingerboards and backplane boards for sure, plus what look like large memory cards that I don't know how to grade. Still working on figuring out the rest. And for sure planning to sell what I can as is before scrapping the rest.

$650. Was more than I was planning on spending but saw over twenty Hitachi 6.2" lcd touchscreens new in package. Should make my money back plus a little on those alone.

Yeah am pretty excited. At the price they wanted for just the machines ($500) I would have been very lucky to even get my money back if they all turn out around scrap price. But the spares were so much better and turned it into a bargain. Was lucky to have spent the prior two days cleaning out an old fabrication shop so had the extra money to pursue it. Was almost all iron but there was *a lot* of it.

Here are some more from this pickup.

This is the kind of RAM used in one of the scrap motherboards

This one came out of one the sockets on the second motherboard below.

Here one of the motherboards with some of Sirscrapsalot's previously noted dust!

    The second motherboard

This is the kind of hard drive found in one box.
