What do you think about my ebay auction?

This is my first attempt to sell scrap circuit boards on ebay. So what do you think? Am I doing it right?

Being as you are charging a flat rate of $12.35 for shipping with an opening bid of .99
I would have listed with opening bid of $13.34 and FREE Priority shipping

By not saying Medium box >> That allows you to choose which box you use
First I would purchase the label online and instead of paying $12.35 for the medium box it will only cost you $11.30
Second I would have some regional box's on hand, Because if some one in the same zone makes the purchase , I would use a Regional B box and ship for $6.16
The B box ships at the 4 pound rate and would be cheaper out to about zone 4

Offering FREE shipping gives you better search placement
Offering FREE shipping gets you an auto 5 stars in the shipping cost DSR
Your Feed Back could use this help as your shipping star is down to 4.8 >> If it reaches 4.6 ebay will place selling restrictions on you

Looks a good well listed item , well pictured well described. Give people a good discription and your over halfway there. Shipping well Ebay likes FREE as JohnC4X4 says It's the way forward , But i Always state exceptions(UK only in my case) as we have a few offshore islands where £4.85 can turn into £20+(Yes It's happened to me).
    Best of luck...Nice looking listing

Thanks for the advice JohnC4x4. It's was very helpful. I revised my auction to make it free shipping with the starting bid at .99 cents plus the online 11.30 flat rate box rate.

British thanks for your advice as well. I'm not really that knowledgeable about international shipping. So far everything I've sold has been to places in the US. I know that flat rate medium boxes up to 20 pounds can be shipped internationally, but I don't know what the price to different places are so I'm not really sure where to make exceptions. I guess I better look that up.

I looked up shipping rates for medium flat rate boxes. It cost way more then the boards are worth. I guess all just stick to the US for this.

I LOVE International sales because of the additional profit they generate
Since I have FREE Domestic shipping and Calculated International shipping
The full amount that is built into the price to cover the Domestic shipping turns into additional profit since the International Buyer is picking up the full tab
I package the exact same way , but will dumb down the customs form >> Since it is set up to use the eBay title
Instead of 12K gold watch >> Becomes mans watch

Thank you for your purchase! In order to get it all in the box a couple large capacitors had to come off one of the boards. I put them in the box separately. Hope that all right.

Keep in mind, Ebay charges 10% of your shipping cost in fees. I would charge at minimum (.99+11.30)*1.15 and offer free shipping.

Ha, sorry. You mentioned "Your shipping star is down to 4.8"... Where do you see that at? The only thing I see rating a user on Ebay is the Feedback. Is there another rating for shipping or something?

Ah, thanks. The reason I didn't see it on my profile was because I haven't received "10 detailed seller ratings" yet.

It's annoying as I've found as a seller, few people leave feedback.

I love those off shore islands. Sark especially, it is so far off the beaten path I understand why the post might charge £20+ to get there.
