How do I get started selling e-scrap? what do I look for and where do I sell it? I am near Omaha, Nebraska. Are there ant buyers close? I Scrap alot of copper and brass already. I am trying to expand a little. I do this part time, so I dont have alot of extra time. I would appreciate any tips and advice I can get. thanks.

I'd recommend picking up 1-5 old laptops or desktop computers and just set one out on a bench in front of you, then tear it down and and examine pieces, separate all commodities in different containers. You learn a lot just from getting some hands on experience, and you will learn to distinguish one material from another doing this. You can work on speed/efficiency later, and move on to different items.

1. Find-yard sales, send flyers to small businesses,networking at evening events,
find and experienced local e-scaper and ask a lot of questions of how they got started.
Open up phone directory and call all PC repair shops.etc etc
2. disassemble and separate and accumulate
3. find scrapers to sell to. Then find more that pay better.
