hello from Fresno, California

I have been coming to this forum for a couple of weeks and its been really informative. I have worked with aluminum for 15-20 years. My dad and my brothers and me are all contractors, we build aluminum patio covers, carports, awnings, siding, and just about anything out of aluminum. So I have been taking in scrap aluminum for years. I just recently started saving copper. We wire lights and ceiling fans and we go through a lot of extention cords. I am starting to get a good sized pile.

Welcome...I'm new to the forum as well. I scrapped an awning a couple of years ago as part of a remodel and was pleasently suprised with the spare change earned.
