    Dell PC's

Hi, I have noticed there are a few dell pc enthusiasts, are there particular dell pc's that are more popular for parts?
what are some of the more popular parts that dell people look for?

They are easy to open and get parts out of. Standard phillips screws, no hex or star heads like on those friggin compaqs It doesn't matter to most what kind of computers we get as long as they are complete with all the goodies still inside.

ok, yeah I understand, but specifically I was thinking about parts.
dell's are probably the most common pc used here in schools, they come in large qty's but don't have much inside.
like finger boards as they are just school pc's so everything is base standard, no graphics or sound cards ect.

but they do have bits like hard drive brackets, you know the blue plastic things the hard drives use to sit in?
also the power units, I have heard that some power units from dells are popular, maybe heat sinks & cradles,
not really sure, was just hoping to try and get better value out of 'em as they seem to be popular, like if your into dell then it's all dell.

Actually dells also have their own versions of power supplies...at least the older ones....I pulled sone recently and they are a different shape. The other reason is dell sold tons and tons of the things...so all those brackets ect..peoe need replacements.
