is there still a market for these? I have about 60 odd sheets not much but I cant seem to find anyone in New Zealand to buy them. I am trying to work out what can I send to U.S.A after paying for shipment I would still make money on. any ideas or comments would be a help......

You might consider finding a local backyard refiner to buy them from you, or learn to do them (properly) yourself. Good luck!

There are no companies in NZ that do recovery of precious metals, all e-waste gets sent to India or China by the container load. I would say that any shipping or postage to the northern hemisphere would take any chance of profit away. There are a few Kiwis on GRF that do their own recovery and refining, which would reduce your postage down to a few dollars. I have been slowly setting up the equipment to do recovery and refining myself, while gathering up the base materials from my (out of control) scrapping hobby.

I haven't considered buying e-waste before, but how about sending me a PM with a price that could suit us both, incl postage to AK. I would even consider getting into buying up med-high grade, and telco boards. I am sure I could pay a better price than the scrap yards are offering. I would also be interested in CPU's and ram if there were any people in NZ that had them.

There are videos on you tube that show how to recover silver from key board mylar. It looks kind of simple but have never tried it. I have a couple buyers here in Florida but don't know how much they are paying right now. 60 sheets is not worth selling, you only have about 1lbs.

I have been collecting high grade cpu and selling the low grade.... was thinking is it worth me selling the pins over seas....I have also now got 2 groups wanting to sell me their catalytic converters
