A large lot of computers to pass on to forum members (New Hope PA)

I was contacted by someone offering a large stash of computer equipment. I am attaching a partial list of items that he sent me.

He told me that it's from an office that just closed and that the hardware is located in New Hope, PA. This is way too far for me so I am willing to pass this on to member(s) of this forum.

But I am not sure what the rules are on this forum (written or unwritten) about who I should git it to. I can simply publish the email address of the contact and additional photos of the inventory list here or ask people to PM me and give the info to the first person or to everybody who contact me. What should I do?

I have NO IDEA whether this is real, who the seller is etc etc. Sharing it simply because I prefer someone else on the forum to take advantage of it.

That is obviously way out of my area, but there is nice stuff on the list (If it's real).

96 GB of RAM in a workstation!? There is some serious money in the RAM alone. Those kits aren't cheap.

I'd jump on it and go get it if I had a trailer since anywhere in PA's close to me.

Oh, yeah! I'd normally check a buyer's thread for grins and giggles on that, but I don't know if anybody actually lists RAM of that high of as capacity. You'd likely be looking at a few hundred dollars in parts before you even touched the laptops. And, those laptops are valuable in themselves.

It's amazing what people will throw out....

if this was free I may drive that far the scrap I find along the way would pay for the trip but with this stuff I am sure there is a nice price tag to go with it

He wants new Honda Civic money for the lot , exchanged a few emails . Told me he had a offer of a lot , I giggled and thanked him for his time . Appreciate the lead Iliaz . I lied he said he was quoted more than NEW Honda CR-V $ , the civic new is only $18k I grossly understated in my last post .

Right there with you. He said what he wanted, I said thanks for the time. Way more than I want to "invest". The company did analysis of power lines of some sort, had a lot of mobile equipment.

I'll keep an eye out on craigslist, maybe he'll break it up if he can't dell the whole lot. Thanks for the heads up. I just sold three old servers today, the buyer was going to use them for a mail server and spares. Saved me the time of breaking them down.
