Cisco Catalyst Switch

Hello SMF -- it's been awhile since I've logged in. Got busy with other stuff and not done much scrapping in the last few years. However, I just came upon a potential score. A school about 2hr's away has closed down as they have opened up a new school. There is an auction going on for lots of the furniture, books, etc. There is also about a dozen lots of switches up for sell. These include the following types:

Cisco Catalyst 3560G - 48 port
Cisco Catalyst 3550 - 24 port
Cisco Catalyst 3500XL - 24 port
Cisco 2800 series 3 port
Cisco 2600 series 4 port
Cisco 3750 series 12 port
Cisco 3560PoE - 24 port

I figure high end I can sell them on ebay or the like for $50+ being conservative or part the PSU out for example. Low end I figure would have to scrap them. My question is, any clue what the board will weigh? I did a search on the forum and found a post back from 2012. Working to do some google searches but not finding much yet. There are about 40 3560G and 25 3550 boards.

Thoughts? Have about 10 hours to bid. Want to figure in the buyer premium, tax, cost to drive and pick-up, shipping, etc.

Buy them as if they are scrap and you cant go wrong.

That is my thought also. However, what I'm looking for is if anyone else has scrapped out a similar model switch. If the board is considered high grade / telecomm (3.90 - 6.00 lb) and it weighs 1lb or more then I'm golden either way. If on the other hand it's lower grade, $2.60 a lb I would mostly break even and it's not worth it. The switches are at a online auction about 2.5 hour drive away.

well depending on the complete model numbers I buy them for more then scrap. But you also ebay so you know you can get more then scrap for a few of them if you know how to test them and reload the facotry software. Rule of thumb for me at auction on switches is $5 each. Then you wont lose money.

Well I won all of the auctions but 1. The haul looks to be something like this.

Bad thing is rain in my area all today and part of Saturday morning. Pick-up is today and Saturday so waiting till the weekend. Have to use my open trailer to haul them home. So going to shrink wrap the hell out of them, then cover in a heavy tarp just in case it starts to rain again.
