CRT tip for those living in California

Here is a company that will buy crt's for 10 cents/lb and tv's for 3 cents/lb. They are in Azusa.
    Might be worth looking into.

Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

    Free electronic waste recycling

Hypoman, thanks for "looking out" for us Left Coast folks However, in my case, living just N of SFO, it would be one heck of a long round trip.
Luckily, my yard has a special e-waste dept. They take CRT/TVs @ 5c/lb in large amounts, as long as you can furnish them with a "contact" name/tele # of the place you obtained them from.
For one to three units, they'll take them with no questions asked, BUT, you will get a phone call from the place that my yard sends them to, just to confirm that the transaction took place.

    Cheers.

Wish they had a place here in Texas that paid for TV's. currently I just gut them then take the carcass with tube to goodwill for them to send to Dell for recycling. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if goodwill gets anything from Dell for the tubes?
