Yeah, our legal system is messed up. I can understand the time law to an extent but jail time for the poor guy driving the truck is absurd.
For Pete's sake! 30 Days for that!?
What's wrong with a small fine, and maybe a night in jail if you want to go that far?
This is nuts!
Welcome to America - the only place in the world where a guy can break into your house to steal your tv, hurt themselves, sue you, and win.
That's a crappy deal.
I'd say the Judge is being a butt face but that's kinda obvious, eh?
While we're getting riled up about unjust laws, I give you these...Surely they should have people upset an marching in the streets..
1. Greece Bans Electronic Games.
2. China - One Child Policy.
3. In Saudi Arabia, there is no minimum age for marriage. In 2008, a Saudi court refused an 8-year-old girl, who asked for a divorce from her 58-year-old husband.
4. In Arizona, having more than two vibrators in your home is illegal. If you own more than two in your house, you can be subject to criminal possession.
5. In Virginia, it is illegal for a man to kick a woman out of bed.
6. In Britain it is illegal to handle a salmon in suspicious circumstances.
7. In Britain it is illegal to operate a cow while intoxicated.
There went my next vacation. Operating a cow drunk was on my bucket list of things to do when traveling out of the country. I bet it'd be a mooving experience.
Sirscrapalot - It behooves me to share all these puns with you, they were utterly mootastic.
Some stats to make you think.
4.43% of the world population lives in america.
90% of the worlds lawyers live in america
25% of the worlds prisoners are in america
In this county unfortunately our legal system is out of control and very broken. From the police, the cities, counties, states, and federal law enforcement agencies, redundant, "over the top", "above the law", and in total control. The politicians (the law makers) with their need for power, control and greed. The judicial system that has a defense (so called), prosecutor, and judge (overseer/referee), all in bed together. A prison system that has become a major employer and a "growth" industry, that has hired lobbyist to entice politicians to pass more enforceable laws. I ask who is protecting who and from what?
This garbage man is just another example and there are many more that don't get noticed, that effect all of us eventually by a "system" out of control and broken!

How do you operate a cow? I want to try that now!
Unbelievable, though! People should be able to sleep through a truck passing by. On our farm, I've slept through trucks passing by that have no exhaust systems.
These people are all wusses, if you ask me!
The company should have to pay him for every hour he's in jail.
The suburb I live in is one of the few left in Denver Metro the still allows multiple companies to service us. Other 'burbs have one option now with strict rules about what and how much you can put out and have high prices. City has rules about hours of pick up and the companies that ignore just give city counsel ammo to go to one company services.

The judge and prosecuter should pay him his wages + for pain and suffering for being in Jail.
The elitists are not all millionaires and billionaires and trillion airs eliticism is a state of mind squired by many who think they are our regulators not employees of the citizens.
