    Shipping question

If anyone out there is selling keyboards via auction, how do you all ship them? I have a few good ones to put up on EBAY but at the prices they are selling at the shipping would take all the proffit. I see several selling with shipping included but cant figure out how they are making any money between the prices they are selling at and shipping prices I am finding out there. Any help would be appreciated.

Because of the shipping my feeling is keyboards are not a high enough ticket item to sell on ebay, unless perhaps you sold them as lots. Seems the last keyboard I bought cost about 14 bucks? Not a way I would try to make money.

thanks find' I've wondered that about items. Items sold for $1.50 with free shipping??? Then you have the fees, paypal charges.. I wonder how they do it too.

The only ones I sell are the "clicky" IBM, Chicony, <--(got 60 for it) etc... older vintage ones. When I sell those, I use this box for shipping, but I am not listing anything I can not sell for 30 or more.

I ship "clicky" keyboards in large flat rate box. Of course they pay the shipping.

Thanks all, they do sell quite nicely on eBay, especially the Dell models I have. As far as the $30 rule for eBay, not sure i agree. I've sold plenty for 15-20 dollars. If I'm making a few bucks on each item it all adds up, as long as I'm not losing money, I am fine with that. I also use the game board box for a lot of shipping, I like the whole flat rate process.
