Wink Not to bad of a day

I work with a 1/2 ton truck and today made 4 trips to the scrap yard.
Yes I overload it all the time....lol

All of the loads were light gage tin.

Made just over $450.00 for the day.

Looks like tomorrow is going to be about the same.

Glad that things are starting to pickup for me.

Good luck to everyone else that hauls scrap.

Very nice! I'm hoping to find some tin myself since the prices are good now. How much are they paying per lb in your area? And if you don't mind my asking, where do you find tin?

tin is going for $.0725 a pound.
I run ads on craigslist almost every day.

On a big job right now that is going to take about 2 weeks to get everything done.
2 mobile homes, 1 pickup camper, 3 turkey houses that are around 600ft long. lots of tin and short iron from the turkey houses.

I"m confused, is that price a typo? Tin is going for $12.0656 per pound on the LME. It's one of the highest paying metals right now.

    Not a foreclosure.
The guy use to raise turkeys a few years ago and one winter the heavy snow brought down the turkey houses.
He also had a stroke in May and can't do anything with the stuff now. His wife wants the place cleaned up.
